London Diary: July 04, 2015 🌳🇬🇧

Hello everyone!

Here’s the first day of my day in London. We spent our day going around Kensington and Knightsbridge 🙂

First bus ride on a red double decker bus!
Yay for my first Starbucks in London!
These looked extremely delicious, but we didn’t have time to try some.
Lunch at Wagamama!

Every restaurant I went to had their water in these fancy bottles.
Mini shopping at Urban Outfitters and I’m really loving their industrial interior.
Happy Birthday Princess Diana!
This was the hottest day from our entire trip in London, but the day looked beautiful.
Typical tourist taking a picture with the red telephone booth.

Hello everyone!

I’m extremely sorry for the lack of posts these past few weeks! I have no excuse really, but I’ve sort of lost the motivation for blogging, but as of late I’m starting to gain the motivation and inspiration again. Its been roughly two weeks since I’ve been back from holiday and school starts in about two weeks. I won’t be posting the diaries from my holiday, but instead I’ll be posting a few picture of the places I’ve been and the things I’ve seen. For now here’s one of my favorite outfits that I wore while in London.

Philippines Diary: July 01, 2015 🇵🇭

Hello everyone!

I’m really starting to feel the heat here… Even though my weather app says its in the mid 80’s it feels like its 100°F out.

I spent more than half of the day at home in my room while waiting for my dad to pick up my sister’s and I to visit my mum at the hospital. While we were waiting, my sister’s and I were playing with out cousin. He has so much energy and sometimes all I want to do is just rest for a bit.

My dad finally came to pick us up around 3:30pm and we made our way to the Rosario Hospital which was less than 15 minutes away.

My mum’s room is a lot nicer than the one my sister, dad and I had when we went for a check up in May. Her room had a TV and a not so creepy restroom that actually had light switch that worked. My mum was supposed to leave today, but decided to stay another night to do more check up stuff that I don’t know. So we went to SM to eat a late lunch.

We decided to eat at Jollibee and as always I had the Spaghetti with some fries.

After eating we went to the salon that we always go to, Shia, to get our hair done and as always I took the longest to finish. My sister and I wanted to dye our hair silver but we didn’t want to bleach our hair 3 -4 times. My hair is already fried as it is from all the hair dying that it went through that I didn’t want to make it any worse, so  I opted for a light brown with some highlights.

While I was getting my hair done I was getting really sleepy, so I asked my sister to get me a vanilla latte with an extra shot of express and omg it was too strong for me. I didn’t know that a grande already had 2 shots so I was practically drinking a triple shot vanilla latte 😱

After getting our hair done we went out to eat, I actually forgot the name of the restaurant but this is the mini halo halo that I got 😁 After we ate we went ahead and made our way home.

And here’s how the color turned out 😊

Philippines Diary: June 30, 2015 🇵🇭

Hello everyone!

It’s that time of the year again where my family and I go to our annual summer vacation! I have been waiting for this trip for the longest time now and I’m so glad that the day finally came!

It was pretty surprising that we managed to arrive to the airport fairly early because were almost always late. This time was an exception because this was my sister’s last day on Guam because she will be living in the Philippines to study pastry and culinary.

After my sister’s good byes to her friends, we went through TSA, ate our breakfast and made our way to board the plane.

I’ve grown to loving plane rides, maybe its because I’ve been travelling so much this year that my eardrums no longer hurt when we take off and land and I no longer get headaches. It’s just like I’m riding in a car.

See you in three weeks Guam!

We arrived to the Philippines 30 minutes early and I was glad that it wasn’t as hot compared to the last time I came here in May. … It was still pretty hot though.

After we put our luggages in the van, we were on my way to my sister’s school to sort some paperwork and payments out so that she would be ready for school this coming August.

We were at her school for a really long time that I was starting to get hungry, but after 3 or 4 hours we finally left to buy some food. We decided to just eat at the little food area at St. Lukes Global City since my sister needed to do a physical for school.

Forever21 White V-Neck Tee / Ross Olive Green High Waisted Jeans / Vans Perforated Slip Ons Steve Madden Purse

My sisters and I decided to eat at Cafe Mary Grace. The decorations were so cute and pretty and the smell of the food was amazing.

While waiting for our food we noticed that there were some thank you notes from customers beneath the glass of our table and we were surprised to see some of the notes from visitors from Guam.

I ordered the Carbonara and I must say that this has got to be one of the best carbonaras I’ve ever tried! I’m usually picky with my pastas because the ones I’ve tried are either too dry or too gooey, but this one was amazing! I wish I could have ordered more!

And of course I had to get my vanilla iced latte from Starbucks before we head out.

By this time I was extremely exhausted and all I wanted to do was sleep, but my sister still needed to do her physical and that took an hour. Once we were done and headed to the car, I pretty much knocked out until we reached the little food area on the way to Pampanga.

We ate at Chow King and I ate my usual Lumpia, Chao Fan and a mini Won Ton Soup. Yeaup, I bought another Starbucks drink for the rest of the ride home, but this time I bought a Java Chip Frapp.

After another hour and a half we were finally home. I’m getting my hair colored tomorrow and that pretty exciting because I’ve been wanting to color my hair since May 🙂

June 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag

Hello everyone!

My May glam bag came in the mail last week! This month’s theme is “Swim into Beauty” and this is what I received:

1. Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner
Anything that would clean out my pore, I’m all for trying, so I’m excited to try this out.

2. Pure Brazillian Miracle Leave in Conditioner
I’m not really sure how I feel about this leave in conditioner because I tried it right after I showered and it made my hair look and feel oily a few hours later. I’ll probably try to use it again to see if it was just that day, but for now I’m not really liking this product.

3. SheaMoisture Shea Lip Butter Crayon (Sarah)

This is really good if you want to have some color on your lips but not so much since its a bit sheer. If you do want it to be brighter just go over it again to make the color stand out more. Though I don’t wear lipstick, this is a very beautiful color.

4. Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Foundation Primer
This has got to be one of my favorite items in the bag. It is one of the best primers I’ve tried! My foundation stays on all day, but the only downside is that my face gets oily.

5. tre’StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon (Aspen Pine)

This is probably one of the items that I know I won’t for sure use because I really do not like this color on me.

I would rate this bag a ❤️❤️❤️ Just like last month’s glam bag I’m not very fond of the items I received, but I’m still willing to try some of them. If you don’t know what Ipsy is its a monthly subscription where you receive a really cute bag with 4 – 5 samples for only $10.00. If you’d like to subscribe to ipsy you can go ahead and click on my referral code here 😊

If you’re subscribed to Ipsy, what did you receive in your June glam bag?

May 2015 Favorites ♡

Hello everyone!

I know my May favorites is a little late since its half way through June and almost time for me to post up my June favourites, but its better late than never.

So let’s get started..

Going back to an old favourite of mine, I’ve been reaching for my Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer (Medium Dark Warm). I really love the consistency of it and the coverage. It’s been extra hot lately and I love how light this feels on face.

I’ve been going to some special dinners/events this month and I’ve been using the Benefit Cosmetics Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation (Toasted Beige). It feels really light on my skin and does not look cakey at all. This foundation has a SPF of 25 which is a plus!

The St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Gel Cleanser has been my all time favourite face wash! I can never seem to find this here on Guam, so when I went to the Philippines I bought two. This is really gentle on the skin and doesn’t irritate my face at all. It does a great job of minimising the pimples on my cheek and smells great. I’m going to have to stock up on these when I go back to the Philippines this July.

A childhood friend of mine’s dad came to visit this month and she gave me a bag of perfume and lotions and out of the ones that she gifted me I’ve been really loving the Victoria Secret Pink “Ready to Party” Body Mist. The scent has a Pink Lotus Flower and Apple smell and it’s not too strong that it would give me a headache.

A fashion favourite of mine is Duster Coats and lately I’ve been loving this one from Forever 21. They aren’t too heavy or thick, they’re perfect to wear on a night out. I was so glad when I found this because I’ve been eyeing the one from Topshop and that one was about $125 and I bought this for more than half the price!

I’ve been listening to quite a number of songs this month and they are:
1. Chivalry is Dead by Trevory Wesley
2. Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth ft. Meghan Trainor
3. Nobody Love by Tori Kelly
4. Unbreakable Smile Tori Kelly

That’s all I’ve got for the month of May 😊 I really do apologise for this late post, but I’m trying my best to post once to twice a week. Hope you enjoyed this post!

What are your May favorites?
